Dr Who, 40 Classic Monsters by LeightonNoyes Dr Who, 40 Classic Monsters by LeightonNoyes
Just passing through, I'm not stopping long but thank you to everyone who's left comments. I apologise if I've not replied yet, but I will in time.

I'm well versed in the classics of Doctor Who and here are 40 monsters from the show's original run. I'll likely as not add to this over time.

Ok, just to clear this up from top row left to right we have, Zygon, Monarch, Sontaran, Axon, Dalek, Sea Devil,Sensorite,Jagaroth and Nimon. Second row left to right we have Azal, Auton, Yeti, Alpha Centuri, Marshman, Mandrel, Silurian and an Ice Lord. Third row, left to right we have Azal's legs, Foamasi, Nucleus, Cyberman, Gell Guard, Mr Sin, Movellan and Krynoid. Fourth row! Left to right! We have Menoptera, Omega, Terileptil, the Master, White Robot, Sil, Voc Robot and an Ogron. Bottom row, left to right again we have Ice Warrior, Cryon, Mestor, Kraal, Monoid, Morbius Monster, Draconian and a green Maggot. Underneath the green maggot is a Dalek eye stalk. And that's it.

Did you know; back in the 70s DR Who was the first BBC program to be sold to the USSR;
the nearest that the Russians could get to the name UNIT was OGRON (Operativnaya Grupo Rasvedkoy Obyedinyonich Natsii:- United Nations Reconnaisance Operations group)
When the Beeb needed a name for a new enemy for the Doctor, guess which name they used.....
This is known as a "metafictional in-joke".
